Thanks for dedicating this to me. :D The colors behind him contrast with the gray makes it gives off a solemn but peaceful feeling. His anatomy is nice too, but I wonder why his hand playing the guitar fades?
Yes, the shadow was alot of fun. I used a classic ink pen with a nib and did some lines then went over it with watercolors makikng the ink bleed a bit.
The shadow behind him is awesome. I really love the idea of it, and the whole plain background. It makes it seem like he's just concentrating on himself and the music.

Its not really supposed to be faded...just blurred. I had issues with that part.
